Frank Maloney Maloney Junior Production
I did a mock interview with a pretend music video production company. I will use this as a form of research and planning for audience research along with media key companies to see what its like for people when trying to produce music videos and the processes involved with the pitch of the video and the bid for funding.

the money as you ain’t getting Paid.”
Song choice
The song I have chosen is – Northern “Bleak”
There’s a good range of tempos to use fast and slow editing
techniques .
Basic Idea
This genre of music is orientated around live performances
at small venues. The band are all my best mates and are going to do a private
party/gig at the drummers house where all of our close friends will be invited
to party and listen to music. So the idea is to film all of the on goings
and some external more calm footage from
one of our many outings me and my friends have.
How long will it take
The bulk of filming will be done on that single night where
the others will be shot over a few separate days. I will also need around 2
months to edit which will allow time to correct any mishaps and just generally
make it as good as possible.
How long will the
video last
The video will last just over 3 and a half minutes.
What equipment
will I use
For the live performance I will use a variety of cameras all
at once to allow the video to be as interesting as possible and allow it to all
be done in one take.
2x GO PROS showing the drummer.
1x portable Nikon d5100 with fisheye lens attached to a
steady cam with led light
And one stationary
Nikon d7000 with 15mm lens to capture the whole room
Target audience
The target audience will be young males around the ages of
17 to 30 as this genre is male dominated with no female bands and gigs are
usually very violent so not many females attend.
